From the toddler class through fifth grade, mathematics are integrated into the class curriculum. The program progresses from the concrete to the abstract with the help of manipulative materials and math games such as Logiblocks, Cuisenaire rods, Unifix cubes, building blocks, puzzles, dice, and board games.
The children develop cognitive and problem-solving skills through trial and error and experimentation with the aforementioned materials. The teachers do not "correct" children for their wrong answers, but support and encourage them to explore and discover the answers for themselves.
In the pre-school classes, the teachers work on different conceptual fields with the children from early numeration and number concepts, classification, series and patterns, temporal concepts, spatial relationships, non-standard measurement, standard measurement. The use of workbooks begins in kindergarten.
