At the Lennen Bilingual School social studies is integrated into the whole curriculum. Through the different classes, the children work on a variety of themes in small units throughout the school year.

As part of an international global community, it is important that children learn about themselves and the world around them with its different cultures and traditions. This knowledge and understanding of our world creates respect for and interest in these differences and in turn promotes tolerance.

The themes we explore include “me”, “my family”, “our community”, countries around the world, the seasonal celebrations, and American, French and world history.
